Bio: Entering his 11th season as head coach, Coach Jim Johnson is 3 wins away from eclipsing the St. Pete Beach High School career wins record. With 7 conference titles, 9 playoff appearances, two district championships, and one state title, Coach Johnson is one of the most prestigous coaches in the state. Coach Johnson graduated from St. Pete Beach High School in 1964. A four year high school starter, Coach Johnson continoued his playing career at Florida State University, where he was a three year letterman. He returned to his alma matter in 1990, and joined the staff as the assistant offensive line coach. Coach Johnson became the offensive coordinator in 1994 and became the St. Pete Beach head coach in 1997.
